Graham Greene is my favorite British Author. He did more for my being a Christian than anyone except Fydor Dostoevesky. For it is easy to praise God in light and goodness, but what about in the era and place of the fall? Where evil exists and seems to be everywhere and cynicism rules the day of thinking people? To me Graham Greene in his novels showed that was indeed possible.
My favorite book of his by far is A Burnt Out Case. Published in 1961, it is a story of faith and the loss of faith.
